This was excellent! The cake has a cake-y brownie like texture and the mousse is like velvet. Definitely let it sit out a couple hours, it won’t melt or collapse.

I made it for a friends birthday dinner/valentines party. Couldn’t get quality rose products last minute. Instead I added 1/4 cup Rishi Tea Passionfruit Hibiscus powder (leftover from your previous chocolate cake recipe!) to the mousse, and decorated it with the freeze dried strawberry powder and fresh berries. Will absolutely make again! Thank you for a wonderful cake recipe that everyone loved!
